Namco has shipped Street Racing Syndicate (SRS), for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube platforms, to retail outlets around the country.
Originally conceived by now defunct 3DO, the title was purchased by Namco through bankruptcy proceedings and given a makeover. 50 officially licensed vehicles are contained in the game, along with “18 of the import scene's hottest female models.” As gamers progress they can unlock the girls' videos and, if players are lucky, “they may even ride with you to the race.” Xbox owners will also be able to race for pink slips online, through Xbox Livebut PS2 owners won't get any of that love.
The “T” (Teen) rated game will retail for $49.99.
