Aaron ThomasSony Computer Entertainment Europe today announced that the next installment in its EyeToy: Play series will be shipping in PAL territories this November.
EyeToy: Play 2 makes use of the EyeToy USB camera peripheral for the PlayStation 2 and offers 12 new games for players to interact with, while their image is projected on the television screen.
It's not all rehashes of the original as new technology is being implemented as well. For example, MiniVision takes an image of both the player and player's surroundings, which allows "players to not only control the game with their body but to actually move around within a 3D game environment." MiniVision will be used in games such as Goal Attack and Home Run.
