Sega has announced that they've shipped Astro Boy for the PlayStation 2 and Astro Boy: Omega Factor for the Game Boy Advance.
Based on Osamu Tezuka's famous anime character, Astro (Tetsum Atom in Japan)—a robotic superhero with a human mind. The games allow players to take on the role of the titular character in order to embark on a quest to reunite the robotic race with humans.
The PS2 version, developed by Sonic Team, lets players "use Astro's Jet-powered Feet, Arm Cannon, 100,000-Horsepower Strength, Searchlight eyes with X-Ray Vision and other special abilities to help save Metro City."
Astro Boy for PS2 retails for $39.99, and both titles are rated "E" (Everyone).
