Word on the 'net is that Toys 'R' Us brick-and-mortar stores have marked down all clearance video games by 50%. (e.g. you won't get the discount at toysrus.com)
We don't know how long this sale will last, and some folks are reporting that their TRU's aren't ringing up with sale prices yet.
I just did a little fact finding expedition at my local Toys 'R' Us (Michigan), and found these PS2 titles on sale:
– PS2 System + Network Adaptor + ATV Game Pack – $115
– Silent Hill 3 PS2 $10
– Zone of the Enders 2nd Runner PS2 $10
– Ratchet & Clank Going Commando $20
– Disgaea PS2 $24.99
– .Hack outbreak PS2 $15
– King of Fighters 2000/2001 2-Pack PS2 $15
– Virtua Fighter 4 PS2 (not Evolution) $10
– Frequency PS2 $7.50
– Amplitude PS2 $10
– REZ PS2 $12.50
– Devil May Cry PS2 $10
– Dance Dance Revolution Max 2 PS2 $20
– Dynasty Warriors 2 PS2 $10
– Fantavision PS2 $7.50
– Guilty Gear X2 PS2 $15
– ICO PS2 $15
– Mark of Kri PS2 $7.50
– Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 PS2 $10
(Not a complete list, just what I jotted down and what I've had friends relate second hand.)
The price stickers on the shelf reflected the old price, but scanning the bar codes into the courtesy scanner revealed the sale prices. If you head to the local mall to skank some of these deals, make sure to check the final cost at the register at your store.
The sale extends to Xbox, GameCube, and GBA items as well… (Ikaruga for GC rang up here at $10, which is a steal!)
