No NICO This Year

Eurogamer.net is reporting that they contacted SCEE about Amazon.co.uk's listing for "NICO" the presumed sequeal to Ico, and were told the following: "SCEE has yet to announce any official information related to the sequel of ICO, but we can confirm that such game will not be launching in 2004 for Europe."

While that may seem like bad news, the follow-up statement "ICO has been a cherished favourite amongst PS2 gamers and we realise that a second instalment is eagerly anticipated worldwide," is certainly promsing. No other details are available this time.
