The sequel to one of the year's biggest games will make its UK debut this
September as Ubisoft reveals its line-up for the Game Stars Live exhibition.
Consumers will be able to get their hands on playable versions of Prince of
Persia 2 for the first time at the London event – along with many other titles
due to be released by Ubisoft prior to Christmas.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2, Splinter Chaos Theory Brothers in Arms, Rocky
Legends, Playboy: The Mansion and Star Ocean Till The End Of Time will all make
their public debuts at the Docklands event, which runs from September 1st to
September 5th this year. Additionally, visitors will also be able to get their
hands on Final Fantasy XI and Everquest 2 in the show's European Online Gaming
Championship.
Exhibitors confirmed to date include Acclaim, Activision, Atari, Eidos, EA
Games, Konami, Nintendo, Nokia and Ubisoft – with many more to be announced
shortly.
"This will be a chance for press and public alike to see how all our games have
moved on since we unveiled our 2004 line-up earlier in the year," says John
Parkes, marketing director, Ubisoft. "We're confident we've got one of the
strongest portfolios of any publisher – but we'll leave the final judgement to
the attendees."
"Prince Of Persia was one of last year's most loved games," adds Kirsty Adams,
event director, London Event Company, organisers of the event, "and Ubisoft
choosing to unveil the sequel among with such a strong line-up of titles is a
huge endorsement of the event."
