Aaron ThomasSony Computer Entertainment has announced that it will no longer manufacture the PSone LCD monitor & speakers peripheral.
The monitor, which features a 5-inch LCD screen and built-in stereo speakers, attaches to the back of the sleeker PSone model and enables PlayStation gaming in cars and other areas where a television set is not available.
Sony originally released the monitor 2 years ago and is planning on making one final shipment of its PSone/LCD monitor bundle in August. The bundle is expected to retail for 18,000 yen or about $166.
