Chris-FaylorMonolith Soft has announced that those who pre-order Xenosaga Episode II will receive a DVD, containing relevant footage from the first game. Now here's where it gets interesting – it seems the DVD will actually offer footage cut from the game, which actually makes it superior to playing through the prior title. In fact, it seems eerily similar to playing Xenosaga Episode I, except you won't have to participate in battle every forty minutes.
Xenosaga Episode II is currently slated for a North American release early next year. We'll keep you updated on when and where you can get the DVD as more details are released.
