Today, Amazon.co.uk put up a listing for a PlayStation 2 title by the name of Splatterhouse. According to details, the item is set for release on June 25, 2004, and will be published by Sony. While the Splatterhouse trademark belongs to Namco, Sony tends to publish select Namco titles in Europe.
You may remember Splatterhouse, which appeared in arcades during the late eighties. The game was later ported to the NES and TurboGrafx-16, with two sequels appearing on the Genesis in the mid-nineties. A PlayStation 2 upgrade has been rumored for some time now.
When contacted, a Namco representative had no information on the title, nor could they confirm if it would be shown at E3.
