Chris-FaylorDuring a conference call today, Midway Games revealed that they have picked up Shadow Hearts II for a domestic release. Renamed Shadow Hearts: Convenant, the sequel is planned for release later this year. RPG fans will be thrilled to discover the same talent who developed the original Shadow Hearts also handled the sequel, although the studio changed its name. In the sequel, players once again assume the role of Urmnaf Bort Hyuga, with a few other characters carrying over as well.
Regarding other titles, Midway still expects Mortal Kombat: Deception and Area 51 to ship this year. NARC wasn't as fortunate though, and is now delayed until 2005.
