Ratchet & Clank HD Trilogy Headed To European Vitas

Back in 2012, PlayStation 3 owners got the great Ratchet & Clank Trilogy .

Well, now PlayStation Vita owners are in for a very similar treat.

Sony has announced that the first three games in the vaunted franchise are headed to the company's portable gaming device. It's the Ratchet & Clank HD Trilogy and it'll be available in both digital and physical formats.

As the news comes from the European PlayStation Blog, this is only confirmed for that region for the time being. It will be available on July 2 in Europe and on July 9 in Australia; chances are, we'll get it in North America, but we need the official announcement. The Vita HD bundle includes Ratchet & Clank , Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando , and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal , along with all the customary frills.

Just a few days ago, the Vita received the Sly Cooper Collection . Nice to see all these awesome games on the handheld, but could we get some exclusive new software, please?

Here's hoping E3 brings some Vita exclusives. It doesn't need many to keep me happy. but something more than what seems like nothing would be nice.

I also have low hopes in this being a quality port.
Apparently the GoW HD collection on Vita runs worse than the PS2 version. It struggles to maintain a 20-30fps playing consistency. That's terrible when the ancient PS2 games ran at 40-60fps.
