And I'm willing to bet that if you handed out a Vita to everyone, everyone would at least try it. I can also guarantee that a hefty percentage of those who tried it would enjoy it, and the hours would pass much quicker.
It's unfortunate that Sony's new portable hasn't received anywhere near enough software support over the past year, but it remains a great handheld system with all sorts of power. Besides, it's not like there are no games to play; the recently released Tearaway is fantastic and well worth anyone's time and money. Media Molecule are the kings of imagination and creativity! And if you missed out on Killzone: Mercenary , now would be a good time to play catch-up.
Then there's the unique and challenging Soul Sacrifice , which, by the way, is free this week for Plus members . There are also plenty of downloadable titles that are great on the go, and don't forget about that Remote Play feature, especially if you already own – or plan to own – the PlayStation 4. The bottom line is that when you're stuck somewhere outside the house waiting, the Vita is the perfect companion for gamers. Forget the damn cell phone; gaming-wise it can't do a fraction of what the Vita can do.
But that has been one of Sony's biggest hurdles; unless someone intends to spend hours waiting in one place, they'll probably only want to take either the phone or the Vita, and most people – if only for security purposes – would opt for the phone. Still, that doesn't mean the Vita isn't worth owning and playing, especially if you're one of those nuts who camp out for sales.
People who have Vita wish they had more games to play, aside from the ones mentioned :3

They should organize trials like that, but it's Sony, they aren't that creative.

I think if you can afford it and you have a PS4 you would be crazy not to get a Vita to supplement your gaming experience.
No games? Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Assassins Creed, Killzone, Persona 4 Golden, Lumines, Soul Sacrifice! Gravity Rush, Fifa, Need for Speed etc. Seems to have all the bases covered to me.

Vita has heaps of games. People just too crazy about quality exclusives. That's what I have Sony lounge consoles for.
I'm assuming they promised exclusives which is why it'll be seen as poor, but I'm sure they'll come soon.
yeah no i can't wait to get my vita and play tearaway and lego marvel super heros and LBP vita i'll get kz:merc but it can wait.

I know some might not be into sports games on here, but MLB the Show is incredible on the Vita. I love doing a fantasy draft, simulating the season, then playing the playoffs with that team all the way to a title. The cross play option on it is great too so when I'm home I can play one of the playoff games on the PS3. Yeah it would be nice if, or when there are more good games on the Vita (besides some cool downloadable minis, etc.), but The Show in a big way, along with a few other games has caused me to LOVE my Vita.
I completely agree, I play a lot of sports games myself and MLB The Show was one of those games I was looking forward to seeing on Vita. And so far the developers have done a great job, the series wasn't bad on PSP but it wasn't nearly as good as home consoles either. Aside from the graphical difference (The Show still looks great on Vita though) it's like having the full home console experience on a handheld, which is huge for me since I'm out a lot.
I'm also a big fan of fighting games and think Vita has an excellent selection there. Mortal Kombat and Injustice are my favorites at the moment and I enjoy both as much on Vita as I do on PS3 and PS4.
not really, battery life on the vitas pretty pathetic you would be much better off with a good old magazine.
hell the battery on my phone lasts longer than the vita does!
how does that work?
a dedicated gaming device has a worse battery life than a phone which has a cellular radio, and so much other crap sucking at the battery.
and mind you that was when i had my iphone, which are notorious for poor battery life.
my Z1 lasts 3 times longer than what that overpriced POS ever did!

When has any dedicated portable gaming console with the power of a Vita shown extended battery life? Even the Nvidia Shield is said to run at around 4-5 hours of gameplay for optimized games. Sure, Android oriented games take less battery, but Vita only titles are a lot better than those.
It's as if you look for every single detail in a Sony related product just to thrash it, even ones well known for many consoles such as this one.

I feel sorry for him. He seems to lead a very angry life and always seems to be filled with rage. He really needs to stop focusing on the negatives in life and try and find something that makes him happy. We understand that he doesn't like the majority of Sony and PlayStation products, and he really needs avoid these things that cause him to become so upset. Life is too short to dwell on things that don't bring you happiness, my friend.
i wonder if he even ownes a sony ps3 or a vita,

Get a xbox if that's what you want and i hope you enjoy it so that you can be happy again
