E3 2012: PlayStation All-Stars For Vita, Two New Characters

Great news for those anticipating PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale : It will boast cross-functionality between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita! Great news.

With more than 80% of PS3s and Vitas connected to the PlayStation Network (as announced by SCEA president Jack Tretton), such a feature should be awfully popular. Battle Royale will release for both PlayStation platforms later this year, and they showed off a round of gameplay on the stage. It looks like oodles of fun; it's fast-paced, colorful and appears to be pretty damn entertaining.

Furthermore, those in attendance at the show will be able to sample two new characters. Freshly unveiled during Sony's press conference, Battle Royale will also boast Nathan Drake from the revered Uncharted franchise and "Mr. Bubbles" from the acclaimed Bioshock series. …oh come on, you guys know who Mr. Bubbles is…he's the Big Daddy, remember? And he should be pretty freakin' powerful, even if we have to give the edge to Drake, just 'cuz he's an eternal bad-ass.

Imagine when they include characters from The Last Of Us and Beyond in the next All-Star Battle. Then they finally realize that both girls from the games will look identical to Ellen Page.

I found it cute that Fat Princess won that round against Sweet Tooth, Kratos, ans Sly Cooper. I guess we really cannot deny her her cake!

We already knew Drake would be in it, as for teh connection with Bioshock fantastic. I hope they will get more 3rd party connections & Please revive Crash Bandicoot, there is no reason why he cannot be involved in this!

yes there is, antivision own the license and i honestly cant see them allowing him in this.
i wish $ony would buy crash bandicoot back, antivision have not released a crash game in years so they have obviously lost interest in it!
so why not give it to someone who does have interest in it?

I was actually disappointed they only unveiled two new characters. I know it's early but I want to hear more characters confirmed. Snake, Cole, Crash, Spyro, Rayman, Cloud, possibly Sephiroth, Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxter, etc.

Nathan Drake I knew would make it but I'll admit, I didn't expect a Big Daddy. That was surprising.

Need to see more now.
