Got the PlayStation Vita yet? If not, maybe you're considering; maybe you need a little more in the way of vital information and incentive.
Well, that's why we're here. In addition to giving you our early impressions , we've also handed out no less than 7 review scores for Vita launch software. You can check 'em out here . Minus the excellent Rayman Origins , we say – so far – that the three best Vita titles are Uncharted: Golden Abyss , Wipeout 2048 , and Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational .
Therefore, after giving you just a brief look at the Vita in our hands, we turn your attention to all three in a full-on gameplay presentation you can find on our YouTube Channel . For those of you who just want to see the games in question, there's 13 minutes of straight action with some straightforward commentary. This isn't an in-depth hardware breakdown; we've long since concluded the Vita is all about the games, so that's the focus here. Good games, to be specific.
The camera tries its best to capture the crystal clarity of the Vita screen, but can't quite manage. Still, we wanted to make sure you got a look at a few of the better Vita offerings for launch day; reviews only go so far, right?
Loving my vita! uncharted is spectacular for being a handheld game.
On a side note: I was just looking at the vita videos that you just updated ben, and i thought i wanted mortal kombat bad b4 but now that i see it works with AR (reality fighters style) i MUST HAVE that game! the release of mk vita cant come fast enough!
Very nice you tube video! Sony did it, they released the best looking portable in the history of gaming! Man, I remember being so excited for the Atari Lynx!! This is so above and beyond that feeling. Wipe Out looks fantastic! Hot Shots and Uncharted looked stellar too. The control looks great. I cannot believe the graphics. So impressed and so getting one. What a great day for the Playstation brand!
I just got these three exact games today.
Just got mine today, and wow, it feels something like when I booted up my ps3 for the first time. Sure the quality of the games are probably somewhere in between wii and the 360/ps3, but there's something unmistakably next gen about the portable experience of it, the beautiful display, the touch and motion controls, and the layers of features that are waiting to be pealed. It is my first smart handheld device, so I'm sure there's a charm there unique for me. Just played some wipeout and I was ecstatic. Damn, it's late.
I'd say it's a LOT closer to the 360/PS3 than the Wii. 😉
I wouldn't doubt it. But, before I played the other games, I wanted to keep my expectations lowered. I ended up getting Wipeout 2048 (only one I've played), Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Marvel Vs Capcom. Unfortunately, Target wasn't carrying Rayman, and Gamestop's B2GO promotion only applied to select titles. Bestbuy's inventory was even more depleted than Target. So, I'll probably return Marvel Vs Capcom at in the near future when target stocks Rayman.
uncharteds by far my favourite so far.
i hope $ony announce ready at dawn are working on a new GOW game for it, and bend are working on a new syphon filter for it.
2 series that really made the PSP shine!
gravity rush is my most anticipated vita title, i absolutely loved the demo!
so much in fact i was tempted to import it, but sadly its only in chinese or japanese so ill wait till it releases here.
