Developer Hypersect has announced a new "brain-bending shooter" for PlayStation 4; it's called Inversus and it blends old-school arcade shooter gameplay with a "territorial strategy game."
Movement is restricted to either the White or Black side of the board and you flip tile colors by shooting them. And one side's paths are walls and vice versa. …confused? Players will attempt to open pathways, trap the enemy and block incoming fire, and there are multiple modes to sample. For instance, Versus features 1-on-1 or 2-on-2 matches, which sounds like tons o' fun.
This is exactly the kind of unique experience we expect to see hit the PlayStation Store on a routine basis, right?
