Ben-DutkaWe already know about a ton of great PS4 games on tap for 2016 and beyond, but there are two more I want to see announced this year.
One goes by the name of inFamous and the other is a new God of War .
Last year, developer Sucker Punch said they still "loved" the great IP , even if their new project was still a secret. They have yet to announce it but chances are, they're getting close; I wouldn't be surprised to see an announcement within the next few months. This is one franchise that has always managed to generate a moderate amount of buzz for the PlayStation brand and personally, I've always adored the adventures.
Then there's God of War . We haven't seen one since God of War: Ascension , which launched nearly two years ago. It's time to talk about the first GoW on PlayStation 4 and I'm willing to bet Sony Santa Monica is gearing up for the big unveiling. Rumor has it that Kratos is gone and the series is actually getting rebooted, which could also mean an entirely new setting (bye-bye Greek mythology?) and likely a new protagonist. But it's the franchise name that matters, as any marketer will tell you, and God of War has always been critical for the PlayStation brand.
If we see both of these announcements in 2016, I'd say that makes for a pretty complete year. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End , No Man's Sky , Gran Turismo Sport , The Last Guardian , Street Fighter V , Detroit and Horizon: Zero Dawn will cement the PS4's exclusive legacy, even if not all of them will release this year. Toss in a fresh inFamous and God of War and that's game, set, match.
My most wanted PS4 exclusive announcements would be Motorstorm, WipEout, and GoW. I'd also like to see Sony take another crack at a Resistence game. A sequel to Order 1886 confirmation would be nice as well.
I think Infamous could take a few years off.

ORDER in the court! Order on the PS4! The more I play that game the more I like it.
I just started The Order 1886 a few days ago. It's a far cry from the open world I'm used to, as I just finished Assassin's Creed.
However, the story, acting and graphics are quite impressive in The Order! Especially the graphics…they're amazing!
I could careless for a new release of either franchise, but if I had to choose one I would go with Infamous with a better protagonist. GOW is pretty much over for me.
Uhhmmm, as far as legacy, the only for sure great exclusives we know will deliver are UC4 and SFV. Everything else is a question mark at this point, even Horizon and GT Sport.
You're forgetting that God of War might be entirely different. Saying it's "pretty much over" for you basically just says you'll never play another action game again.
Not really…just saying I'm over the current state of GOW. I should have been a little clearer. If it does feel next gen (no fixed camera) with better storytelling…then I'm all in in for sure!!!
New infamous absolutely but I do not want to see Kratos ever again,they should have stopped with 3.
Not looking forward to either of those too. While this is not a Playstation release (yet) its worth being aware of as its my favourite Final Fantasy of all time. Final Fantasy IX on PC & iOS/Android 🙂

inFAMOUS Second Son came out in 2014 so I doubt we'll see another one for the time being.

If I had to guess, it's been shelved. Jaffe didn't get the reaction he was hoping when they debuted it at PSE in Dec 2014.
I remember reading a long rant he wrote, defending the game.
Sadly, as much as I like Jaffe, Drawn to Death didn't pique my interest at all.
That said, "No Man's Sky" was also debuted, and that does NOT INTEREST ME IN THE SLIGHTEST. What do people see or expect from this game?

A couple of weeks ago on Twitter, Jaffee gave out a beta code that lasted for a 1000 uses.
Which I promptly snagged & posted here & in our seemingly now-deserted forum.
And the 1000 usages were gone within the 1st hour.
I though the game was very turning out to be very inventive & creative IMO.
inFamous: Return of Electric Man! That's what I want.
I'm skeptical that Sony will let the hounds loose on Sucker Punch's new game or God of War at least until 2016's exclusives are out. Maybe not this year. They will need to make a big splash at E3 to keep putting nails in MS's coffin though, but VR is gonna be a thing they want to focus on.

edit: and PS4 needs a flagship exclusive franchise. Though I wouldn't have a fit if it went multiplat in order to be successful.
