It's hard to imagine the PlayStation brand without Sackboy today, isn't it?
That's why we're wishing LittleBigPlanet studio Media Molecule a very happy 10th birthday. They're celebrating the anniversary over at the PlayStation Blog , so go wish them well.
On this day a decade ago, the team was founded by a group of friends who went on to change the face of the PlayStation landscape. The original LittleBigPlanet earned Media Molecule all sorts of well-deserved acclaim, as it was not only one of the first great PS3 exclusives, it was also a huge step forward in terms of customization, creativity and wildly imaginative entertainment. LittleBigPlanet 2 was another fantastic success and then they went on to deliver the stellar Tearaway , arguably still the best Vita title in existence (and also available now on PS4).
They're currently working on another anticipated PS4 exclusive, Dreams , which was unveiled at E3 2015 . We can also expect a beta at some point. Happy Birthday, Media Molecule; you're one of the best and brightest developers in existence!
Good for them. Now what is this Dreams thing again? I didn't see it. Make a VR game where I can play with legos without buying them!
