This is actually the first year in a very long time where I didn't get anything game-related. I didn't want anything, really, as I have more than what I can handle already, and I basically own every title I really want at this point. There are plenty of games I want next year but in truth, I just needed more clothes and books, which is basically what I got. So, how's about you? Share!
Since I'm a loner, I got nothing.
I was hoping to treat myself to a gift, at Amazon with a 1-year PS+ code they were doing for only $39.99, but after numerous tries it still wouldn't go through even though I knew I still had $55.51 left on my SS debit card.
So I decided to call up their automated call center to check my balance & that's when I found out that my balance was now zero'ed out.
I then checked my wallet & found my SS card missing, so apparently some A*shole found my card & then found a way to break into my account & took the last remaining money I had.(till the middle of next month).
And now, I can just see all the government hell I'm going to go though trying to get a new card & a different account.
So "Merry Christmas to me"

Somehow my CC got declined a couple times, that's not good. And it shouldn't be! I have plenty of credit left on there, it's quite bizarre.
Thanks for helping me, but I caved and bought a used PS4 and a copy of Fallout 4 that was just over $50.
Of course now the sales are starting I should have waited for, but I thought that they probably wouldn't happen since there was no longer a need to drop prices. Shoulda stuck with my original assessment.
Your help will though make my PS4 capable of having 2TB space and a totally cool looking piggyback. I think with Fallout 4 going I may need to buy an intercooler as well.
Glad I could help with your HD upgrade, that 3.5 HD data Bank sits pretty damn cool looking atop my own PS4.
The only thing I gotta do now is figure out how to skin it right, since the that data bank has added on to my PS4's shape, & especially since the skins are laser-cut to the PS4's original specs.
I'm guessing I might have to buy a 2nd copy of my skull skins & then play around with the dimensions of both skins.
Yeah I like the way it looks surprisingly. Like a PS4 Star Wars droid.
Monoprice.com has the uncharted collection bundle on sale for $309.99, and a discount through my employer knocks off another $31. And then after $100 in gift cards, I can get a PS4 for $178.99. Merry xmas to me.

My son received Disney Infinity 3.0 Force Awakens play set, with Kylo Ren and Poe Dameron along with Lego Dimensions. The Force Awakens is really good and we loved the movie as we have seen it twice already. We are having a blast with it. It's cool because the story is a little different than the movie. Have not tried Lego Dimensions yet. I was glad to save a ton of money on that. I haven't heard the best news about it. I bought EDF 4.1 And my son and I played that for 3+ hours today. Got a lot of nice non-gaming stuff. As far as gaming-related gifts, got a $25 gift card to GameStop. Think I'll use it to buy a PSN card and take advantage of that PSN flash sale, looking at Transformers Devastation.
Family wasn't able to get much in the way of gifts this year, but I treated myself to 'Fallout 4' (and three months of PlayStation Plus) for $39 during Black Friday, and I've still only put a couple dozen hours into it.
I received a $15 iTunes card, some slippers, and 'Rear Window' on Blu-ray. These days, time is a bigger constraint for me than money, so my backlog just continues to increase and I find myself wanting less.
Rear Window, total classic. Thumbs up.
I got 3 games Dragon Age Inquisition Game Of The Year Edition and Borderlands:The Handsome Collection for Ps4 and for my Xbox 1 i got a copy of Halo: Reach so i can Reach on my Xbox 1.
Try not to get too bogged down in the side quests for Dragon Age. I felt like I needed to do them for completion sake and to get great loot but it wasn't really worth it and broke up the already thin plot a lot. I recommend a better balance unless you have lots of patience.
No gaming related stuff at all.
The usual clothes and smellys lynx sets 7 of them and counting. A shirt that didn't fit me so passed to my dad he said he would have it. It had a God awful pattern on it anyway. He traded me some socks which I would use.
Even year it's the same you get something that you wouldn't dream of wearing or using yourself. It's like they have a list of people to buy for and grab the nearest item they see and mentally tick them off well that's them done etc.
So anything I won't use gets lashed in the wardrobe till I can get rid of it.

We got a Wii U and had great fun with 4-player Mario Kart 8. Unfortunately, the Wii U's gamepad screen is defective with a column of pixels being stuck black. It still works but it's disappointing. This holiday bundle that sold out fast isn't one I could just take back to the store and have replaced easily. I suppose I'll call Nintendo and see what they can do. Though I'm not hot on the idea of getting a refurb replacement for something that's brand new.
That's a shame. I had that happen to me with a brand new 3DS. though I didn't have the dilemma of not being able to replace it at the store.

It's not that big of a deal really. I'm bothered that Bayonetta 2 has turned into this rare and hard to find game. It fetches a ton on eBay right now. Did Nintendo discountinue it?
I would just get it on their eShop but I read that Nintendo's digital licenses are very strict. Strict to even the very console you bought the game for. Which sucks bad.
It'd be nice if there were some way to get Bayonaise 2 onto real consoles in a special version.
Temji, the game licenses are only attached the the console that your Nintendo ID is attached too. So say you have to buy a new console or Nintendo has to replace your existing Wii U, you can migrate your account (or Nintendo does it for you in the case of replacement) to another console and all your eShop purchases will transfer over. It's done this way to prevent "game sharing"/ sharing accounts. So it isn't a situation where you would have to buy Bayonetta again if you got another console. You would just have to migrate your Nintendo ID to the new console. It's stricter than Sony's policy but it's still "fair" in my opinion.
Lol world, you say the Wii U isn't a real console but Bayonaise 2 performs better and looks just as good and many games on PS4. 60fps! Booya!

Though I see the game is way to big to store on my console while I have Smash and Splatoon loaded already =)
External HDD. Get one. Haha I bought a 2TB Back Up Plus Slim by Seagate, took it out of the housing and put it in my PS4 then I took the 500gb drive from my PS4 and put it in the Seagate housing and formatted for my Wii U. Now I have a total 532gb of combined space between the flash drive and the external HDD. I just keep all my digital games on my external drive and always have it connected. They load perfectly fine from it. Though in my case I did have to get one of those Y UBS cables because the power output from a single USB port from the Wii U isn't enough to power the drive. But if you go with an external drive with its own power source you won't have to worry about getting a Y cable.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate. And I'm happy to report that, finally, I think I can play this franchise. The combat and stealth is much better, now it is versatile, they seem finished with stilted fakey action, and the options for approach make it ready for prime time. Very cool.
Plus I love the assassin girl they ripped off from The Order 1886.

In point of fact, the mechanics you describe really aren't that much different than Unity. The structure of the missions and the AI is better, though.
Liberation? The main girl was black so who do you mean? Evie looks a lot like Igraine/Isabel but perhaps a bit younger.
I never played Unity because I was still scared of the franchise after trying it 4 times.

I liked AC Revelations system a lot. Ezio was decked out with tons of options like a Sam Fisher.
