Resident Evil 5 Coming To PS4 And Xbox One on June 28

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 5 will be available on June 28 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Coincidentally, June 28 is also the release date for the US version of Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness . Resident Evil 5 is one of the re-release Resident Evil games that were announced earlier this year.

The re-release Resident Evil 5 includes all the downloadable content for the 2009 game on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. That includes the two expansion episodes "Lost in Nightmares" and "Desperate Escape," the Mercenaries United and Versus Modes in multiplayer, plus all the costume packs.

Improved frame rate and 1080p resolution are what will set apart the update from its predecessors. Capcom announced back in February that Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 were all geting updates for the current console generation, in descending order. Resident Evil 6 launched for PS4 and Xbox One last March 29, leaving Resident Evil 4 to come sometime this fall.

Capcom has talked about Resident Evil 5:

Two players can team up to play through the intense and extensive campaign together, which includes boating through gator-infested swamps and exploring ancient ruins beneath Kijuju. Co-op in this game builds off of the satisfying, deliberate, and revolutionary gunplay introduced in Resident Evil 4. Friends can team up for both local split-screen and online co-op play. Remember, friendships can either be strengthened or shattered depending on how quick you are to heal your buddy with that first-aid spray.

Resident Evil 5 for PS4 and Xbox One will be priced at $19.99. Even though I'm a fan of the Resident Evil games, I'm not planning to buy this PS4 version of Resident Evil 5, as I've already played its PS3 version a dozen of times already, and I don't feel like re-playing it again on my PS4 even if the frame rate and resolution has been improved. How about you guys? Will you be getting Resident Evil 5 for PS4 on June 28?

getting absolutely sick of these HD re-releases.

Did anyone see the Batman Arkham Asylum/City re-release and how damn awful it was graphically compared to the PS3 version?

Im sure theres going to be a physical collection of all three games so I might wait for that although I wish I could pay more and remove 6 from the collection.

RE5 wasn't a very good game, so why a re-release?

They already released 6 which was the equivalent of watching paint dry on grass while it was growing so why not release 5 aswell? Might aswell continue the shit train.
