Grand Kingdom DLC Included On Disc In Western Release

NIS America has released new details, video, and screenshots for Grand Kingdom introducing the game’s Valkyrie, Archer, Noble, Paladin, and Dark Knight classes.

The five classes were originally released as paid downloadable content in the Japanese version of the game, but they’ll be on the disc at no additional cost in the North America and European release. The four Great Nation campaigns that were also released as paid downloadable content in Japan will also be included with the western release at no additional cost. It increases the game’s campaign content from 12 chapters following The Guild to 48 chapters of story that delves into Resonail’s lore and nations. Each Great Nation campaign sees players align themselves with a particular nation and dives into that nation’s motivations and history. You’ll meet new characters, discover the ties that bind rulers to family and nation, and more.

You can watch the character trailer of the game below.

Grand Kingdom hits PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Europe on June 17, followed by North America on June 21. Those who pre-order the digital version of Grand Kingdom will get 10% off the final retail price, an exclusive theme, and four Charm Scrolls for customization and stat allocation in mercenaries in the final release.

June is shaping up to be a great month for RPG aficionados (like myself), as the likes of Star Ocean 5, Grand Kingdom, and possibly Mystery Chronicle are set to release on June. Well, it looks like my Vita could see some considerable playing time as I'll try to play Grand Kingdom and Mystery Chronicle while I'll get Star Ocean 5 for my PS4. It's really a good time to be a PS4/PS Vita owner.

I played the hell out of the beta. It is cool how you can level up your characters, and I mean a whole bunch of them, and send a team of 4 out at a time to fight and earn exp for themselves. this game is a side scroller strategy rpg.

The beta was VERY VERY limited though. You was not allowed to play the story mode at all and you could only send out one team at a time, 3 times a day, to fight for your employer, country. By that I mean YOU actually controlling them. But the longer you let them fight on their own the more exp and gold they got.

Not to mention people can pay YOU for the right to use your characters in battle.

I will need a full review before I pay 60 bucks for it, but what little I played of I liked it. Playing Battle Ages right now.

Me don't get it. They already announced all these classes were in the game months ago. Is it to make it seem like they're giving western buyers a bonus?

Beta was great but suuuper held back so it was hard to get stronger and not get destroyed just for trying to assist your nation in the wars.
