Which Games In 2015 Have You Found To Be Most Satisfying?

Obviously, "satisfying" is a very subjective term. But that's really the point.

What do you feel has been the most fulfilling gaming experience of 2015 so far? I'm not really talking about the game you think is best; I'm talking more about the one you couldn't put down, the one you kept thinking about after going to bed.

For instance, I wouldn't say The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the best game of the year (even though it's worthy of being in contention), but it's the one that grabbed me right from the outset and didn't let go. And you know, for some, "satisfying" might be something very specific: For instance, you might think a big surprise – a game you never expected to like but loved – is at the top of your list.

Then there are experiences that are unique and memorable, so I don't want to discount them from the "satisfying" or "fulfilling" list. Titles like Everybody's Gone to the Rapture , Until Dawn , Bastion , Super Mega Baseball , Axiom Verge and The Order: 1886 all qualify, but some for very different reasons.

Which games are on your list?

1. MGS5
2. The Witcher
3. Bloodborne

That's pretty much it. I am a very picky with my games and I don't have a lot of time to play unfortunately. When the semester kicks in next Monday it will be very difficult to make time to roam the lands of Afghanistan. =/

MGSV is leaps and bounds ahead of everything for me at the moment. Until Dawn and The Evil Within though definitely deserve a mention too in my book, especially Until Dawn, that is a hidden gem and seems to have sold quite well too which is encouraging to see.

Every game I have purchased this year has been satisfying. I loved Batman AK, Bloodborne, MGSV, Witcher 3, and Driveclub. But the most satisfying has been Mad Max. Vehicular combat, very nice upgrade system, and endless gameplay.

Critics say it plays too much like other games, mainly Far Cry and Assassin Creed because of structure and focus of side content in the world. But I play neither one of those series anymore so I could careless.

The story is nowhere near as satisfying as the Witcher 3/MGSV, the gameplay isn't as rewarding as Bloodborne, and the player control is in strong contrast to MGSV/Batman AK, but for some reason this game just stuck. The exploration is actually pretty cool even though it's just a wasteland. The game is just very easy to pick up and just play as opposed to every other game I mentioned besides Batman. Just a flat out fun game even if the story is lacking.

I suppose satisfying would have to be something I felt overly pleased with all around.
I've only played a handful of 2015 releases, which also happen to be the only ones I seem to have an interest in thus far.
Those being Order, Bloodborne, Witcher, Batman, and MGSV.
Witcher was the only one with a like-dislike vibe where I couldnt say I was overly satisfied. Everything else has been great.
All the other games I've played this year came from different years , even decades.

9/9/95 Happy Birthday PS!
9/9/99 and DREAMCAST!

Most satisfying was Bloodborne because as hard as it was, I managed to complete it and I enjoyed every second of it:) Then Batman AK and GTA V. Can't say about MGSV as I'm early in the game.
That's all the games I bought in 2015.

Besides the first two obvious choices (not Bloodbourn, it's not my style), It might be transistor. I know that indi masterpiece came in last year, but it's PS+ debut was this spring. I also though The Order 1886 was better than the reviews lead on, but still a miss opportunity in so many ways.

In terms of gripping and sleep losing effect; yeah Metal Gear and The Witcher have gold and silver.

Rocket League. Even with MGSV out, I'm still putting in more time with RL. I play a bit of MGSV, but I get a little bored with it, I jump on RL for a nice change of pace.

I have to echo cLoudou and say that Rocket League is indeed a very satisfying experience. Grow Home, though pretty short-lived, was also quite fun. However, the year isn't over and Disgaea 5 hasn't released yet, so I am sure that and Fallout 4 will be at the top of the list. Well, until Star Ocean 5 drops next year.
