While the Tomb Raider reboot seemed to go over very well with most gamers, it appears many PlayStation fans aren't too enthusiastic about the sequel.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive for Xbox platforms and won't arrive on PS4 until late 2016. Perhaps that's why, according to our latest poll, the majority of readers just aren't interested in getting the game when it finally launches for PS4.
Still, it'll undoubtedly be the definitive version of the game, with extra content and potentially updated technical specs. We expect many people's minds to change as 2016 wears on, and it's important to note that almost as many people said they would indeed get Rise of the Tomb Raider ; just not on day one.
This week, we wonder what the readers think of Nintendo's new console. We know almost nothing about it at this point, but it seems clear that the NX is on the horizon. Are you excited about it? Or are you simply done with Nintendo? Somewhere in between?

Im excited for it but the delay for PS4 isn't the worst thing for me since there are so many games coming out that i want to play soon 🙂
I don't even have the first one, dunno I was never interested on buying a Tom Raider game.
That said I should give it a try now that it's cheap, the timed exclusivity doesn't bother me if they put some extras there.
It's like an exciting version of Uncharted with a less interesting story.
Day One for my Xbox One, can't wait for this…
Shame about the timed exclusivity, but I'll wait. The 1st was a blast for me and the 2nd one should be even better. Moar puzzles please!
i havent had a nintendo console since the 64!
Probably because its a timed exclusive for xbox and this is a ps site.
I know this won't be a popular opinion, but I think the timed exclusivity deal was smart for Crystal Dynamics. Now let me say that as a gamer I don't agree with the whole timed exclusive practice (for MS or Sony) in general and I wish no one did it. However, from the developers point of view this was kind of a no brainer. At the time it seemed like TR would be directly competing with Uncharted 4, and let's face it, if you're an action/adventure fan you're going to choose UC4 over TR. So by releasing a year later on PS4 they avoid that conflict and they get a big bag of cash from MS.
and miss a whole year of sales for the console that has 3-4 times as many consoles sold as the xbox. At the end of which nobody cares much anymore.
Since when is the PS4 outselling the Xbox One 4x over?
there's a reason games like Tekken and DoA launch close together. Same too does Battlefield's and CoD's. Same with why Hobby Lobby pops up across the street from Craft Warehouse and McDonald's across the street from Carl's Jr. And Exxon across the street from Shell.
While it seems like it's a good idea to keep TR and Uncharted separated by more than a few months apart, marketing hasn't shown to harmonize with this notion, especially during the heaviest shopping season.

Since the world.
seeing that there's nearly nothing to go on by way of info right now with the NX, other than they're partnering with some communications company, the most I can say is that I'm curious and interested in knowing more.
Seeing that my family and I are planning to get a Wii U at the end of the year, for reals this time, I'm more interested in playing the new Wii U games I'll get from it then. Which isn't many. Bayonetta. I'll try Devil's Third. That Xeno game has a chance. The next Zelda game has a chance, I suppose.
I can't get into Smash, and the Splatoon game doesn't look like my thing. Mario Kart's just make me mad. I like a good Mario platformer now and again though.

Devils Third came out?
Nope. But hands on previews of a near complete build states it's so bad it's almost good.
When I watch the gameplay I see inklings of things I sorta miss from games. Yea it looks like Japanese action pretending to be western but I still like. I feel like the reviews will be worse than the truth. When I read that it looks like a PS2 game I think no it doesn't. Maybe a 1st and 2nd year 360 game but PS2 is ridiculously false. I'm feeling a complete beat down of criticisms and exaggerated disdain because it's identity will feel so off and any misstep will be trampled under foot.
It's amazing how games like AC Unity get nailed heavily for bugs yet games like Wotcher 3 are mostly ignored. Why? I think a part of it is because some become so decidedly against or for the purpose of said games.

shocking
I hope they rue the day they kept Lara from us, the cowards. I hope it's a financial black hole for that entire year. I hope it burns and people are fired and then shoot themselves in the head.
No idea what NX is or what to think about it.
i'm keen to get rise of the tombraider but just like i voted i maybe not get it day one but i'm still quite interested in the game for sure.
happy gaming
