Yes, I know none of them are coming out this year. Which is why I've been saying for months that Microsoft will have the definite edge during the 2015 holiday season.
They're bringing in Halo 5: Guardians , Rise of the Tomb Raider and Forza Motorsport 6 ; the latter drops in September, the next Halo installment is set for October, and Lara's new adventure will arrive in November. Good spacing, wouldn't you say? And what does PlayStation 4 have?
Well, after Uncharted 4: A Thief's End got pushed to 2016, nothing, really. We even lost the Ratchet & Clank remake to 2016. But after E3, it seems plain that Sony has reclaimed momentum moving forward; here are just a few of the exclusives to look forward to:
And don't forget that Until Dawn and Tearaway Unfolded are still set for this year, and we can look forward to God of War III Remastered , Journey on PS4, The Tomorrow Children , and the Final Fantasy VII Remake . If the latter title ever actually becomes a reality, it'll debut on PS4 first (obviously, it'll be multiplatform in the end). And of course, we can expect Gran Turismo 7 and whatever Quantic Dream is working on as well.
Here's my question: What does Xbox One have coming after 2015? I've taken a peek…trust me, the list isn't half as impressive as this one.
Your 'taking a peek' has me interested.. I wanna take a peek too!
Isn't No Man's Sky supposed to come out this year?
Going into 2016 Unchartered 4 and Horizon are my 1-2 punch (assuming Horizon actually releases then). But I'm also intrigued by Xbox's Scalebound, Quantum Break, and reCore. Hopefully they show off game play for those at Gamescom.
Yup Microsoft already confirmed that they will show Scalebound, Quantum break and new crackdown at Gamescom this August…
Those games are gonna flop on Xbox. As much as I love Inafune and PLatinum games, Japanese games aren't gonna sell there. Quantum Break will flop just like Alan Wake did.
I'd play those games sure, but I'm not going to buy an Xbox for those, or any current or known future Xbox games so far.
@cloudou
Lets take a look at the games listed. On Ps4
– Dreams looks like a crap indie game
– horizon zero dawn. probably will flop hard just like killzone
– Street Fighter 5 -yawns- wake me when the ultimate street fighter 5 comes out.
– Uncharted 4 ok Ps4 has 1 good game.
– Nier 2 No release date yet who says it will be out next year.
– The Last guardian ok game number 2.
"horizon zero dawn. probably will flop hard just like killzone"
I hope you get eaten by robot dinosaur for saying things like that…
Someone's butthurt lmao.
First off if you're trying to make a point and your first point is generalizing Indie games as crap, your points are invalid. FOH.
I could see Scalebound flopping, but Quantum Break could be a success if they launch it in February or March. Not sure what they plan on doing with the TV series tie-in, but the game looks like a sci-fi spin on Max Payne. And I'm not really too concerned with how many units these games sell. I'm sure obscure and niche titles like Dreams and The Last Guardian will sell like crap too, doesn't mean they'll end up being bad games
It's a healthy looking line-up, didn't know Nier 2 was an exclusive?
Uncharted 4 and Street Fighter V are my pick of the bunch. Excitement levels for The Last Guardian have waned though.
The others don't interest me at all but i hope they're good games nonetheless.

Lol at the exclusive fanboy war. This is why i love owning both 8 generation systems. But i notice something aint the xbone becoming the Ps3 with this mandatory install crap. Right now im installing the halo collection and its been 4 days and it sits at 12% complete at this rate i'll have it done by the time halo 5 comes out -__-

I wouldn't blame the Xbox so much as opposed to your obviously crappy internet…
@PS3_Wizard
Then why can download on my Ps3 and Ps4 just fine 🙂
I agree 2016 looks to have some nice Sony exclusives, though I suspect Microsoft has more than a few up their sleeve as well that we just don't know about yet. Focus on what's available now and will be in the next few months, and save the hype for next year until after the holidays. It's a good strategy.
