Ever since the problematic launch of the PlayStation 4 exclusive, developer Evolution Studios has taken the necessary strides to solidify this great racing experience.
This includes server maintenance, which is of course a necessity. Today's downtime will only last about 8 hours and is the result of the team deploying "major updates:"
If it goes the full 8 hours, things should be back up and running by 2 p.m. EDT / 11 a.m. PDT at the latest. That's not far off now, and don't forget that you can still access the offline mode. The latter isn't robust enough in our opinion but it's all right for a few hours. Added Evolution:
