If you've enjoyed the open-world zombie fun, you're not alone.
According to the Dying Light Twitter account , over 1.2 million players have signed on to survive or die.
The figure accounts for unique players across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, tallied between January 27 (launch day) and February 2. It's important to remember that physical copies of the game aren't yet on sale in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East, so many more players are likely to join in the coming months. Of course, they can only count you if you've got your console hooked up to the Internet although these days, who doesn't?
Dying Light hasn't fared as well with the critics as many hoped; the game currently holds a 73 average on Metacritic (the Xbox One version is a couple points higher) and actually, we also gave the game a 7.3, calling it the first "Icarus Game" of 2015 , in that the developers' ambition was high and the concept was fantastic; it just lacked the necessary execution throughout.

This game is freaking fantastic.
Absolutely. Never have I seen such a contrast between critics and users. Dying Light is without a doubt an incredible experience in darn near every way. In this case most critics are flat out wrong about this game. 8 out of 10 comments of every blog, site, etc. I have read so far say they are loving the game
Maybe critics are getting reviewers fatigue like when we had generation fatigue for last gen consoles. I dont know, but I believe critics might need to take a couple months off vacation to put things back into perspective.

$99AU on the Playstation Store in Australia and $29 for the season pass. Too rich for me…
1.2 millions people just wasted their money on shit…
Leave it up to them to define it as such.

Fareez is just a waste of comment space. 9 times out of 10 he just posts nonsense, adding nothing positive to the community.
And 1.1m of those players love the game to death. Me included.
Yeah , easy to get fooled by the critic overall score .Most of those buyers love it .
Standards are allowed to be a little lower when it comes to zombies.
well thats good for a game that got mixed reviews
happy gaming
It fared well with the users tho ( 8.1 ) and that what truly matter since they are more about the fun factor than anything else .
