Square Enix has confirmed that the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster , currently available on PS3 and Vita, will hit the PlayStation 4 in Spring 2015.
The title will be released digitally and in physical format at retailers, which is great news for those who missed out on the PS3/Vita iterations. We don't know if the PS4 version will boast any improvements but chances are, it won't. Remember, the two games in question already received their upgrades in the original release of the Remaster ; this is just about bringing a great compilation experience to a newer platform.
In our review , we said the collection is a must for fans of the franchise but of course, if you're not a lifelong follower, it might not be your cup of tea.

I'm just curious if this iteration also supports cross-save support.
If not I'll just stick to a Vita + PS3 combo.

Do the vita and ps3 versions share a trophy list? Or are they separate?
If this supports cross save, then I think I can officially retire my PS3. The last time I used it was to play this game when it came out and have since been playing it on my Vita.

if there aren't any significant enhancements there's no point.
I know my PS3 isn't going anywhere anytime soon. My 360 went bye-bye to make room for my PS4.

It's now being made available on PS4. It was not previously available on PS4.

i guess you could say they were going to do this considering the ps4 sales
