Game Of Thrones PS4 Teaser Trailer: Catnip For Fans?

If you're a fan of the show, you're probably up for TellTale's new game franchise.

The video game adaptation of the super popular HBO television series, "Game of Thrones," is currently in the works and a teaser trailer has appeared over at the PlayStation Blog .

They also announced that some cast members of the series will reprise their roles in the game. This includes Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Cersei Lannister (Lena Heady), Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer), and Ramsay Snow (Iwan Rheon). You will control five members of House Forrester in the game but you'll encounter plenty of other well-known characters and familiar faces. On top of which, TellTale says "additional cast members will appear in later episodes."

Never seen the show myself but I know it has a rabid following. Are you one of those followers? It's okay to admit it.

I dont see the point in this. Will it just follow the series narrative? The series doesn't appeal to me, the setting just never grips me – Which it looks similar to most western RPG's, so Imagine it will fit right in.

Then why bother to click on the article and post if you won't take 30 seconds to do a cursory search for info that could have given you a basis to work in? Telltale Games games have up until now been prequels so as not to damage previously established canon so I doubt this will be different. And it won't play like a western rpg at all. Think Heavy Rain set in the Game of Thrones universe.

Recommending the show as a must watch for you Ben. I'm sure your backlog is more crammed than mine but it's worth it. On that note: Do NOT become attached to ANY of the characters. They die left and right. It has pissed me off to no end but I can't seem to ever hate it as a whole. It's just too damn good.

Love the show, and I have high hopes for this series after Telltales phenomenal work with 'The Walking Dead' and 'Fables.' I have so much faith in Telltale that I believe they could actually surpass the television series, maybe even the novels. Just hope I'm not setting myself up for disappointment.

Such a wonderful show, only Telltale could handle it too. I'll get it once all episodes are out.

I like what telltale does. But I hate that even though I purchased The Walking Dead on the PS3 I have to Purchase it again if I want to play it on PS4.

Speaking of The Game of Thrones, I watched seasons 1-3 but almost forced myself to. Season 4 though was very good!

I loved Walking Dead both seasons and The Wolf Among Us so this is a no brainer for me. Iciing on the cake is that I love the show…

I haven't played the Walking Dead since season 1, but I did also play their Back to the Future series.
I'm interested at the idea of a GoT game, but Telltale games always seem a bit confined by their engine. So I'll wait for reviews before I get too excited.

If you have the time I would recommend reading the books before watching the TV shows. Brings an extra bit of something to the TV shows.

I am looking forward to this game and i like Telltale's work but idk how i honestly feel about Got getting the Telltale treatment. On the surface it seems like a perfect fit because of the inherently political narrative that the GoT series is famous for and Telltales penchant for heavy uses of memorable and hard-hitting dialogue but part of what makes the idea of a GoT game so amazing is the imagining of leading one's own house to glory,Rising their banner and working their way to the top of the realm. For a game based on such a great universe it just seems so small and GoT is anything but small.
