Double Fine Asks For “Psycho-pedia” Fan Contributions

We're all eagerly anticipating Tim Schafer and Double Fine's next production, Brutal Legend , but we'll always have a soft spot in our hearts for last generation's Psychonauts . If you do, too, we suggest you check out the new "Psycho-pedia."

You can find the "secret pre-release" of this nifty online Wikipedia style knowledge bin at Double Fine's website , where we learn that the team is trying to fill up the Psycho-pedia with as much Psychonauts info as possible. You can dive in and check out the excellent details they've already included (they've even got videos), and yes, you can even contribute something from your own wealth of knowledge. They tell you the Psycho-pedia still needs a lot more content and have asked everyone for Fan Art, Fan Music, Psychonauts costumes, and "And any other art you may have created while under the influence of Psychonauts ." When they've crammed as much as they possibly can into this Psycho-pedia, they will release it for all the world to see. There's no doubt that Schafer and Co. have always respected their fans, and although some of you may find it odd that this comes out years after the launch of the game, you have to understand something: Schafer fans are loyalists. They're die-hards. And when a game like Psychonauts arrives, they'll love it indefinitely and time has no bearing on their adoration.  Oh, it's true.

If you missed out last generation, we strongly suggest you seek out a copy for the PS2 (although the Xbox version was better); it could be a tough search, but it'd be worth it. For my part, let me just say that I almost never like platformers, and I adored every last second of Psychonauts . So I say, bring that Psycho-pedia on !

now if everyone else let you choose what operating system you wanted between Linux, and microsoft, that would kick ass! I'd take Linux any day of the week.
