Never got into karaoke. But if you're a fan, you're probably a big SingStar follower.
As revealed over at the Euro PlayStation Blog , SingStar: Ultimate Party will land on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Europe next month.
Game director Chris Bruce also unveiled the game's list of songs, which is 30-strong. It's a relatively diverse sampling boasting artists like Kylie Minogue, TLC, Coldplay, Lionel Ritchie, One Direction and Pharrell Williams. And in a fresh twist, the game will let players use their smartphones as microphones to sing along with the game. Not sure how accurate that will be but hopefully, it'll work out fine.
SingStar: Ultimate Party will launch alongside a major update for the standalone SingStar app on October 29. They haven't announced a North American date just yet, but that's probably because this franchise is much more popular in Europe.

lmfao at smartphone becomes the mic. looks like singstar is looking 4 a new gimmick.
The smartphone move is a great idea as it reduces the barrier to entry. I just hope they will port over the songs that we have purchased for the ps3 version to the ps4
