Ben-DutkaTime to dust off Gran Turismo 6 .
Even though a year has passed since the game launched in December 2013, developer Polyphony Digital still has a few more tricks up its sleeve.
Here comes patch 1.16, which is pretty big: It brings B-Spec mode to the game for the first time; it was available in previous installments but mysteriously left out of GT6. This lets you basically manage an AI driver as he spins around the track, making long events a lot easier. It's the only way I did those 24-hour endurance events back in the day, I can tell you that.
They've also tossed in the Mini Clubman Vision GT (pictured here), which you can either purchase or earn by finishing a lap in the new, limited-time seasonal events. Lastly, they've brought back the Mid-Field Raceway track, one of my all-time favorites! There are a few other additions as well; check the game's official website for the full details.

I was excited to hear B-Spec has undergone a different direction than GT5.
BUT SERIOUSLY! Daddy wants some GT7 news! 😛
Unless Sony or PD feels pressured by MS/Turn10, gamescom is the speculated reveal event. Otherwise E3 if pressured. No matter, they NEED to announce it this year. C'mon PD!
Just bring on GT7 already with better engine noises/exhaust notes, prettier graphics, and an improved car list that isn't entirely Japanese brands. I'm ready for a new GT already.
GT6 in my opinion was just a re-skinned update of GT5 which really disappointed me. Wasn't a bad game, but I lost interest in it fast compared to GT5.
But congrats to those who wanted B spec mode back. A feature I personally never found enticing
no way. This game has received a ton of updates and contents bigger than this patch. Surprised to see GT6 finally being covered. I consider this a minor update compared to some of the bigger ones that weren't covered.
well thats a nice car and all but i don't have GT6 so as nice as the updates are they don't affect me so…

i just got a wheel a few weeks ago so i have had gt6 fired up a lot more than i had for a while. soooo much fun with a wheel. anyone want to race? i havent actually raced online yet.
honestly, i was disappointed with gt6. i felt like it was gt5.5.
i just hope gt7 isnt a polished version of gt6.
