Actor Troy Baker, who you probably already know for a slurry of hits like The Last of Us (and its sequel), Mouse: P.I. For Hire, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and a slurry of other impressive roles, is wanting to form his own game.

Speaking to Eurogamer, Baker was inspired by Abubakar Salim, who starred in Assassin’s Creed Origins before pivoting to Surgent Studios, releasing Tales of Kenzera: Zau and Dead Take. He isn’t forming his own studio, it seems, at least not yet, just “beginning the conversations” to see who he wants to tell his story with.

Salim has thrown his opinion there with a jokingly tossed “don’t do it” post on social media, but his response was more geared towards early thoughts, which included Baker forming his own studio and going full-time in game development, stating the industry is “ruthless.” Meanwhile, PocketPair’s head of publishing, John Buckley, encourages Baker’s endeavor.

To be clear, we probably won’t hear much about this in the near future, but hopefully things play out smoothly for Baker.
