Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes by Steel Crate Games will be getting a non-VR centric game mode upon the release of its console ports. Steel Crate is in the process of releasing what they call flatscreen mode. This mode will nullify any deeply-rooted VR components and allow you to play with people, even remotely.

In Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes you play one of two roles. One role is in a small room attempting to defuse a bomb while the others are the Experts feeding instructions on how to do so through a manual. The only issue is the Experts don’t know what the bomb looks like and no explosive is alike.

The four member team of Steel Crate Games says it will also be released on August 16th for Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch.

Do you plan on getting the game because of this mode?
