Which 2015 PlayStation Games Are Tops?

It's just about that time of the year again, and PlayStation fans owe it to themselves to select the very best titles of 2015.

All you have to do is visit the PlayStation Blog and cast your votes in a variety of categories, including overall Game of the Year.

There are a few things to remember when scanning the lists of nominees:

— Nominees are limited to games that have never appeared on a PlayStation platform before.

— Additionally, if a game has won for a specific category in a previous year, it’s no longer eligible to win in that category this year.

— We tried to include a (very) wide range of nominees for each category, but if your favorite isn’t on the list feel free to write it in at the bottom of each form.

The polls will remain open until the last second; they'll close at 11:59 p.m. PST on December 31 and then the numbers will be tallied. You'll see a post listing all the winners at some point in early January and you might be surprised by the results. Or, do you think there are obvious clear-cut winners on those lists? Some might say a game like Bloodborne could dominate, considering the widespread critical acclaim, but then again, non-exclusives like Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will definitely be strong contenders. The latter title just won GotY at the Game Awards 2015 . Which ones are you gonna vote for?

I like the fact that we have lots of options in each category. There are always more great games releasing in any given year than you might think (or remember)!

MGSV had the best sound track for sure. All those deliscious 80's tracks with a slew of MGS tracks. Yummy.

not sure what studio of the year means but kojima's team deserves mad props for delivering a polished AAA open world game at launch.

Seems to me Destiny had the best expansion. It successfully rebooted a troubled game into something much more respectable by many. I've seen moves like this have disastrous consequences in the past with other mmo-like games. Bungie deserves big props for pulling it off.

speaking of the Fallout 4 soundtrack I love all these old tunes but it's the PS4! There should be at least 200 songs on that radio not a handful again.

Yea I like the music in fallout 4. I actually own quite a few Dion and the Bellmonts records. But even in what little I played I kept hearing the same tracks. MGSV had nearly the entire Wedding Singer sound track and then some. Then all the Metal Gear music to top it off. Easy pick for best sound track.

@ Jawknee:it would be allright for me if MGSV would be the winner of best soundtrack, the 80's where great[i was a teenager then]i really like the music of [the 80's] MGSV.
But i like the soundtrack from Fallout 4 just a little bit more,i had the same with Fallout 3,i'm just a fallout sucker.

@ Temjin: i did'nt buy Destiny,so i cant judge/vote that expansion.

Its not just Fallout 4's great radio tracks but also the well implemented gameplay mapped music that complements every scenario you're in perfectly.

Btw, while I'm sure Witcher's DLC is good I just don't see myself ever getting to it because the game is already so damn long. If there's ever been a game that didn't need same year DLC because it's already 200 hours long, Witcher 3 is it.

Destiny on the other hand was content deprived from the start, at least until it's two original DLC packs launched. The Taken King well justified its asking price by giving every Destiny gamer a very good reason to come back to the game.

I could care less about the score, my love is the old time tunes. However I think they know that repeating a handful has an obsessive effect on people. That is, they start singing them in their head during the day, humming them, and hearing them in dreams. So the game gets in your head hardcore.

i agree with Temjin:[fallout 4]"the well implemented gameplay mapped music that complements every scenario you're in perfectly":
so true,it's very good, for me it's the best.

On the purely Sony side these are tops:

The Order 1886
Until Dawn

For GOTY? MGSV or Fallout 4 I reckon.

Bloodborne is too niche and Witcher had a long period of being a technical mess along with generally being generics covered by beautiful graphics.

How is Uncharted 4 NOT on a nominee for "Most Anticipated" on a PlayStation site?!

lol I dunno. I'm getting it but I'm just not enthused about it. Not many seem to be. A testament to why it deserves a proper burial.

I thought the exact thing. It's worrisome actually. Does Sony know something we don't?

They – Sony and whoever made the list – already explained this on the blog. In the rules it says a game can't win the same category two years in a row. Uncharted 4 won last year when it was supposed to release for 2015.

The rules are posted along with the categories and winners for those interest to read it.

I'm not sure I understand the direction of your last part… however, I did read it.

For whatever reason there's still question why Uncharted 4 wasn't on the list. I was just pointing out why.

I find it funny they have kojima productions on there and not konami. Heheheee.

Btw, The Witcher 3 all the way on anything and everything.
