Ben-DutkaTwo huge PlayStation 4 exclusives. Which one do you want most?
I'm very quick to say inFamous: Second Son , and I've got my reasons.
Firstly, it's not a new IP and as much as I love fresh concepts (new IPs remain the lifeblood of the industry), I know I love inFamous . I mean, provided Sucker Punch kept the basic gameplay principles in place – and it appears they have – I'm fairly certain I'll adore Second Son . There's almost no doubt in my mind that it will be one of my favorite titles of 2014, and it helps that I've seen plenty of gameplay.
Therefore, this is solidified in my head.
However, there's something just so exciting about a new IP, isn't there? That goes double for me when a first-party Sony studio is behind it. If you really look at what Ready at Dawn is attempting to accomplish with The Order: 1886 , the game could be downright astounding if the developers make good on their claims. I'm also a big fan of the time period in question, and I really like these alternate historical realities. Reminds me of the Bioshock franchise, and those games always had unforgettable atmospheres.
Which game tops your hype list?
Getting inFamous right away, but I am a little worried it's mainly going to be a bigger, faster, more explosive version of the same thing. That's okay but I'm really hoping for more substance in a PS4 game. Kinda skeptical that's coming. And Delsin bugs me, but I hope he has a good personality that I can connect with.
So I'm more hyped for The Order, it sounds like it's going to be actual next gen stuff. Great time period, great location, werewolves, and awesome facial hair.
I feel the same. The Order reminds me of Nightmare Creatures and I loved the original for the PS1.
No doubt Second Son will deliver on gameplay and graphics. To bring it to epic proportions they must take the story to another level.

Oh man I love Nightmare Creatures, the first was best but I liked the second one too. That franchise should never have died.
Far more hyped for The Order. For the simple fact that it's new, unknown, and incredibly unique with it's story/atmosphere.
I'm getting Second Son Day1 but I feel I already know what to expect from it.
I have to agree with Worl and Vertigo.
I'm ready for Second Son but The Order seems to be plain awesome.
Both games will be day 1 for me

I'm more hyped for Infamous, favorite series on ps3 and can't wait for more. The order looks awesome, but Infamous is made for me.
inFamous. Only because we haven't really seen anything for The Order yet, and because inFamous 1 and 2 are easily among the most fun games on the PS3 and SP loks to be doing everything right with the latest. The Order sounds really, REALLY cool, though, with its Insomniac-looking weapons, interesting settings and sheer new-gen gorgeousness. And new IP *drools*.
That will probably change by the time I get a PS4, considering it is so far away >.>

maybe i buy infamous about a year or 2 later for 20/30 bucks, it will be ok for me i guess but nothing more,not a day 1 buy for me.

Not really hyped for any of these games. Frankly, they look sucky sucky to me.
Has there even been gameplay for either one?
There has been some snippets on inFamous, Underdog. And it does look mighty fine.

Infamous, aka, the reason I'm getting a PS4. But, maybe when I see actual gameplay for The Order, I'll be just as pumped for it.
I'm hyped to hear more about The Order. Until I know more I can't really get excited over it.
infamous on the other hand looks good. I know what to expect and that has me super hyped.
The Order.
I love infamous immensely, but I don't have a doubt about it being a solid game. The Order on the other hand – the fact that we've heard such great stuff and all the while it could just fall flat on its face…. I just can't take it.
i wish i had PS4 so i could weigh in on this…by the time i get one, both games will be in the bargain bin -_-
Well since I won't have a ps4 for a few months or more I'll get them both as they release. So Infamous first, which I'm super hyped for, kinda embargoing any info.
But the Order should be good. Its just too mysterious right now to have more hype then Infamous.
Come fall i should have both, and all the other excellent looking ps4 games coming this year.
Its not that I am not excited for the Order, because I really want to see more of this game. I have faith that they will pull through and deliver something pretty close to the first Uncharted in terms of quality. We can only hope that it turns into a series as Epic and well made as Uncharted.
However, Second Son just looks amazing. From the demonstration I was at for PAX to the screens and videos I have watched since, I have no doubt that this game will be awesome. I loved the first two and can't wait for this one.
definitely the order for 2 simple reasons.
1 its going to be far more a technological powerhouse!
2 it will be allot more fun and innovative.
genre and potential wise it should be the other way around, open world superhero games, you cant get more fun than that!
but SP royally f*cked infamous 2, stripping you of all your powers, than when you FINALLY get them back there far less powerful, and much more simplistic than before.
in the original you had one grenade and it did everything, 2 they split it up so instead of having a very effective weapon for everything, it was a very specific tool for just one job, spoiling the fun.
whole point of being a superhero is feeling powerful, its in the title, SUPER!
but 2 didnt make you feel super at all, more like a superhero who has had half his power taken away!
the melee focus of second son really worries me too, theres been far too much focus and emphasis on the chain, i mean how much did you use the gigawatt blades in the original, or coles amp in the sequel?

storywise too, im a bit worried how this is going to tie into the world that cole left behind, and whether this is going to have as interesting and twisting a story that the original did.
the first was so amazing, both gameplay and story wise, hell its probably the only game this gen where i still remember every single little detail about its story even though i havent played it in years!
2 was pretty crap both not as many twists, and also felt allot less ambitious and well thought out.
instead of feeling like a big part of the game, like they went out of their way to put that detail in, the story of 2 just felt like it was there because it was a bullet point on the back of the box.
The Order
I want to be hyped fir the order, but I think it's gonna be another haze. Infamous will be great, more than likely
honestly i pritty pumped for both but infamous is comin first so that probs get that 1st but i'll get both at some point

I'm more hyped for The Order, but that's mainly because I love the setting (and werewolfes!). Not to mention I know what I get from inFamous 🙂

Both I would say. Its tough because they are both launching at different times of the year.
Right now, inFamous Second Son is it. From what I have seen so far, not much really, it looks to be a great game if the genre and theme is to your liking. It is for me as I love both the previous games as well as the digital game.
And I will be hyped for the Order later in the year as the launch approaches. I only hope it is not delayed to early 2015. Definitely would be an excellent Xmas game. Hopefully.
Now… all this hype for me… and I do not own a PS4. Maybe Xmas.

I don't understand how anyone can be so hyped about The Order – yet. We've barely even seen a screenshot of the actual game yet, what is there to be excited about?! Just cause it's an exclusive?
Gamer instincts. I've learned to trust mine. Even when a game has very little media surrounding it I'm right about it more often than I'm fooled.
But we barely even know what genre it belongs to? I mean, unless I've missed out on something here we essentially got a title, some talk about melee fighting and the time/setting, giving a steampunk kind of impression.
It's very little to base an instinct on!
I am currently more excited for inFamous due to a few factors. It simply comes out sooner, I love the franchise, and although I am very intrigued by The Order I do not know enough about it to say I anticipate it more than SS. Looks promising though.
Which ever game lets me shoot lightning from my fingertips at werewolves.
Infamous 1 and 2
I like them both. I have a bad feeling both are just going to be last gen games with next gen graphics.
Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I want to see the power of these systems used for more than just more particle effects.
I'm slightly more hyped about infamous because I know what I'm getting, but I'm way more interested in the idea of the order.

It would be "The Order" if I had a PS4, with 2nd Son being a very, very, close second.
I'm looking forward to inFamous:Second Son more than anything that's been announced so far.
As long as The Order is based on werewolves, I can pretty much deal with it and I am looking forward to seeing more of it. If it turns out to be a horror game with werewolves being just one aspect of it, then I might pass. At my age I'm not into having the sh*t scared out of me at every twist and turn.
I'm more excited by the fact that more people on here are excited for the new. IP than I thought there'd be.

Kind of a ridiculous question since infamous is out in a month ( unless you don t care for the infamous series at all ) and the order is available gods know when .
I would say I'm more hyped about InFamous: Second Son because I absolutely love the first 2, but I can't wait to see more of The Order.
